St. Maarten Beaches

Nettle Bay Beach is on the French side of the Simpson Bay Lagoon. Since the water is so flat here, it's ideal for many watersports, especially water skiing. Nettle Bay is home to a number of excellent all-inclusive hotels and is a short distance from the French side capital of Marigot. On the opposite side of the bay (the other side of the road) is the ocean so take your choice.
